After being delayed until some unspecified point in February 2022Square Enix has finally put an official release date on the Pixel Remaster of Final Fantasy VI. Through a new publication on social networks, the Japanese company confirmed that It will be next February 23 when this adventure comes to mobile and PC.
This isn’t just another wild goose chase, it’s time to move out.
The Final Fantasy VI pixel remaster launches on Steam and Mobile on February 23rd PST/GMT. In the meantime, enjoy the rearrangement of Terra’s Theme in all its majesty.

This new version has improved graphics, with supervision of the own Kazuko Shibuya, a talented artist who has worked for many years in the franchise of final-fantasy Additionally, it has a soundtrack remastered as well as some improvements to touch controls, an updated interface, battle automation and much more.
Users who book it in Steam they will get various bonuses, including four wallpapers, five music tracks and a 20% discount. Then we leave you with the included songs:

Publisher’s note: Square Enix certainly makes some pretty weird decisions when it comes to its games. I don’t understand why they don’t want to release these games in formats other than mobile and PC, knowing that they would sell extremely well. Maybe this will change in the future, but for now, it’s still a pretty unusual decision.
