“The forces and means of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Penza Region are working on the spot: 25 people and six pieces of equipment. The information is operational and subject to clarification, ”the department added.
The explosion became known earlier that day. The incident happened on Antonov Street. According to some information, bitumen spilled over an area of 2 hectares.
According to journalists, the reason for the explosion of the tank could be a violation of the technological process when pumping bitumen.
