According to what was reported by Variety, three actors are added to the cast of The Witcher 4, destined to arrive on our screens in 2025, on a date yet to be specified.
Among these is Sharlto Copley (District 9, Chappie), one of the most famous South African actors, who will play Leo Bonhart, an expert swordsman and bounty hunter.
The second new entry is James Purefoy (Resident Evil, Churchill), who will play Stefan Skellen, a mysterious spy from Nilfgaard who will represent a somewhat controversial character within the story.
The third actor announced is Danny Woodburn (TMNT, Seinfeld), who will play Zoltan Chivay in the series, a well-known friend and companion of Geralt's adventures also seen in the video game series, now destined to also appear in the television adaptation.

These will join the already established cast, which has as main elements Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra and Joey Bateywho will return to play Ciri, Yennefer and Jaskier respectively.
The big change in terms of cast, as is known, concerns the protagonist: Geralt of Rivia will no longer be played by Henry Cavill, as we also saw at the end of the third season, but has been replaced by Liam Hemsworthwhich has already sparked a significant amount of controversy.
