“The walking dead” will end its central story with its eleventh season, but several of its characters will have further adventures in their own spin-offs. One of them is denyinterpreted by Jeffrey Dean Morganthe former villain of the show who redeemed himself and became an ally of the protagonists.
In the later chapters, he goes into self-exile after realizing that Maggie won’t change her opinion of him and that he’s lost a bit. Not much was known about his fate, until the announcement of the new production revealed ahead of time that he would come out alive in the end.

“Now that we’ve announced there’s going to be a spinoff, I guess we don’t need to die,” Jeffrey Dean Morgan said on The Rich Eisen Show. “Spoiler alert, folks. Sorry! I’m still not sure why they announced it already. It was a shock to me,” he admitted.
According to the actor, he was also initially confused because he had received “orders not to say anything about the ending, but also to continue talking about the spin-off.”
