The festival returns to La Fica on April 29 and 30
The Warm Up closes its poster for the edition that will be held in a month and a half. On April 29 and 30, the festival returns to La Fica, bringing together some of the most renowned groups on the national and international music scene. Outstanding artists with very varied sounds will pass through Murcia, such as the powerful Bastille, the mythical Fangoria, Rigoberta Bandini and her recent successes or the latest stages of Izal, who recently announced that he is retiring from the tracks indefinitely.
The fans’ wait to see the full poster has come to fruition this Thursday. The festival has confirmed in a single announcement all the slots that it had yet to announce: The Vaccines, Tretemoller, Maria Arnal and Marcel Bagès, Pional, Krystal Klear, Elyella, Rakky Ripper, Irenegarry, Hoonine and Flash Show, complete the list of the 2022 edition. A festival that inaugurates the spring season and that, after the success of its last edition in a reduced format in October 2021, will place Murcia on the map of the most important festivals in the country with a wide variety of sounds and with a varied and different poster.
The Vaccines will present their latest album «Back in Love City», their most visceral and visionary work to date in which they have opted for reinvention by introducing new sounds and exploring new ideas. With 13 songs to enjoy the dances on Saturday at the #WARMUP2022 venue.
Another of the great must-sees of this edition, on Saturday April 30, is Trentemøller. The Danish artist will present «Memoria», a hybrid album between the more electronic sounds that characterize him so much and dream pop and post punk. A mix of sounds that take you, once again, towards the organic combined perfectly with the instrumentals.
Maria Arnal and Marcel Bagès’s turn will be on Friday 29. An absolutely perfect duo full of magic and experimental sounds that could not be missing from this edition. They will present “Clamor”, recognized by much of the critics as the best national album of the year 2021.
With Elyella on stage, the dances and the party on the second day of the festival are more than guaranteed. A perfect tandem with which to enjoy her own songs and her remixes that make us enjoy the long festival nights so much.
Krystal Klear -Dec Lennon- arrives in Murcia with his disco, house and techno songs and his biggest release to date «The Division», an EP of four songs full of freestyle and electro. Without a doubt, her session on her Friday will be the perfect combination of sounds to turn La Fica into a party.
Electronic music is still present in the #WARMUP2022 line-up on Saturday 30 with Pional. The musician and producer -collaborator of John Talabot- has stood out, since his beginnings, for his personality and power, becoming a benchmark and one of the most acclaimed DJs.
Rakky Ripper stands out for his talent and his innate ability to create unimaginable themes. The artist from Granada -who will be on Friday- began with trap songs that evolved into new sounds closer to hyperpop. Irenegarry also joins the poster but, in this case, her turn will be on Saturday. A complete indie revolution with pop and r&b influences that she herself defines as the “fresh brit/spanish sound”.
Finally, Hoonine and Flash Show are the latest additions to the poster for Friday, April 29. The former stands out for its mix of electronica, downtempo, R&B and minimalist pop, and the latter for its ability to make people dance and enjoy a memorable session.
