Diego Herazo, the Colombian striker who has just arrived at San Lorenzo, one of the greats of Argentine football, is playing his first classic this Saturday. Coach Rubén Darío Insúa put him in the starting lineup to face Huracán.
The former Medellín, Equidad, Millonarios and Tolima attacker was not, initially, in the coach's plans to be a first baseman in this match. However, the newspaper Olé revealed the unusual reason that made the coach change his mind.
The starter in the attack was going to be, according to press reports, the Paraguayan Iván Leguizamón, who has just completed a great job with his country's National Team that won the Pre-Olympic and obtained a place in Paris 2024.
However, at the last minute Insúa decided to remove him from the starting lineup and bring in Herazo. According to Olé, the reason was a huge tattoo that the Paraguayan got on the quadriceps of his right leg.
This is how Diego Herazo became the starter
“The reason is not clear: some claim that the footballer felt some discomfort in the area where he got the tattoo; while others claim that Insua did not like the fact that he exposed his physique a few days before the classic,” says Olé's version. .
⚽️ Minutes away from Hurricane-San Lorenzo, there would be a last-minute variant in the Cyclone due to a strange cause:

Leguizamón had only played one game this semester with San Lorenzo, eight days ago, against Tigre. Herazo, on the other hand, had his third presentation and had just scored a goal against that rival, in the 90th minute + 2.
The first half was not fortunate for Herazo, who could not overcome Huracán's defense, and coach Insúa decided to replace him with Leguizamón at halftime of the match, which continues at this time.
