The Ukrainian Air Force said on Wednesday that it had managed to shoot down 22 drones launched by Russia over five regions of the country in an attack overnight.
Philip Pronin, governor of the Poltava region, said via the Telegram application that the attack caused damage and injured one person in the region.
The governor of the Mykolaiv region stated that the Ukrainian army destroyed six drones over the region in southern Ukraine
The governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region in central Ukraine said that four drones were shot down over Kherson and another four drones were shot down over Dnepropetrovsk.
The attack also targeted the Sumy region in the north of the country, but no details were received from local authorities about damage.
