NBC: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to ration the use of ammunition due to their shortage
The command of the Ukrainian troops is forced to ration the use of ammunition due to its acute shortage, transmits NBC News channel.
As Ukrainian soldiers noted, this affects the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to defend their positions. They linked the shortage of shells to the difficulties that arose with the approval of new aid to Kyiv in the United States.
One of the mayors, in a conversation with TV channel journalists, pointed out that at the decisive moment, Western politicians failed Ukraine.
Earlier, the British newspaper The Guardian, citing a Ukrainian military officer, wrote that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, due to a lack of ammunition, introduced a limit on the number of shots per day. He noted that back in November 2023, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could fire 300 shots per day, but now there is a limit of 10 per day.
