The eighth edition of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship will be held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, at the Mubadala Arena, with the participation of 1,500 male and female players from more than 30 countries.

On Monday, the eighth edition will witness the launch of competitions for the youth and junior categories for the first time in the history of the tournament, with the participation of more than 800 male and female players. Our national team is participating in the competitions with more than 100 male and female players, and has strong chances of achieving the title, in light of the outstanding talents it possesses. Vietnamese Phuong Thi Hue, who won the 45kg gold medal, said: “Winning the gold medal in the Asian Championship is an honor and an achievement that will remain etched in my memory for a long time.
