Rawda Mohammed Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to Costa Rica, received, at the embassy headquarters, the delegation of the Sports Federation for School and University Educational Institutions, which participated in the World University Cycling Championships, which was held in Costa Rica from May 29 to June 2, and the delegation was headed by Adel Bilal, head of the delegation and coach. And the riders: Ali Hamid Al-Sabagh and Omar Abdul-Razzaq Al-Jasmi.
Adel Bilal conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, President of the Emirates Sports Federation for School and University Education Institutions, Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Secretary-General, and Ali Masri Al Dhaheri, Executive Director, to the Ambassador and the embassy family, good luck and their wishes for continued success and progress.
Bilal said: “I extend to His Excellency the Ambassador and the esteemed members of the embassy my sincere thanks and appreciation for this kind gesture, and my appreciation for the warm reception and all the efforts they made to facilitate the mission of the mission in the tournament. This is not strange for our diplomatic missions abroad, which are always present and provide all facilities and capabilities to serve… Sons of the homeland”.
Adel Bilal pointed out that the tournament was good and represented an opportunity for the duo, Al-Sabbagh and Al-Jasmi, to gain new experiences in a different competition in terms of geography and level of competitors.
Bilal appreciated the great support provided by the Sports Federation to school and university education institutions for student athletes and providing the best opportunities to participate in external tournaments in various individual or team games, in addition to local sports activity that witnesses great demand and competition from various educational institutions.
