The Civil and Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid has unanimously agreed to reject for processing the complaint filed by the State Attorney’s Office, on behalf of the President of the Government, against the judge investigating his wife, Begoña Gómez, for crimes of prevarication.
The decision, notified this Friday, has been adopted by agreement of judges Celso Rodríguez Padrón, who presides over the court; Francisco José Goyena and Jesús María Santos, who has contributed a dissenting vote to the resolution that is concurrent with the inadmissibility but contributes its own nuance: that the Chamber should have put in writing that this complaint “patents, even with clamorous evidence, a repeated exercise “abusive criminal action, in violation of procedural good faith.”
