To the third heat wave of the season that is currently affecting the country, a few atmospheric phenomena are added that tornado and rain chances increase in some states of the North of mexico.
La Conagua, through the weather forecast of the National Meteorological Service (SMN), explained that the necessary conditions will exist for the formation of tornadoes and whirlwinds in Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas from Tuesday night and throughout Wednesday.
These conditions will be promoted by the interaction of a dry line with a low pressure channel, instability at high levels of the atmosphere, the subtropical jet stream and the ingress of humidity. The union of these phenomena will also cause occasional heavy showers and rains, electric shocks and possible hail in the northern states of the country, including Coahuila and Nuevo León.
For its part, the anticyclonic circulation at medium levels of the atmosphere will maintain the third heat wave of the season, which will raise temperatures above 45 °C in Sinaloa, Guerrero, Morelos, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Campeche and Yucatan.
In addition to the heat, central and southern Mexico will have heavy rains, with electric shocks and possible hail; Among the areas affected by this rainy weather are Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Chiapas.
These rains will be the result of the union of a low pressure channel with the instability in atmospheric levels and the entry of humidity.

– Intervals of showers with heavy occasional rains (25 to 50 mm): Coahuila, Nuevo León, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Mexico City and Chiapas.
– Intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm): Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Morelos, Michoacán, Guerrero and Oaxaca.
– Isolated rains (0.1 to 5 mm): Guanajuato, Veracruz, Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
