The State is reinforced in Sateliot Through the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT)what is colloquially known as the ‘SEPI Digital’.
The Council of Ministers has authorized on Tuesday a investment of 13.8 million euroswhich gives the SETT 16.3% of the capital of the Catalan firm. The State was already part of Sateliot’s shareholders through the State Society for Industrial Promotion and Business Development (SEPIDES), which has a 2.4%participation.
In this way, it goes on to control almost 19% (18.7%). Other shareholders are Indra, Cellnex and Global Portfolio Investmentsamong others. For its part, the firm advances in its series B series, reaching about 60 million euros of the planned 70.
As reported by the company in a statement, the funds will go to the orbit of a dual technology constellation of more than 100 satellitesa key infrastructure to guarantee real -time connectivity in areas without coverage. The plans of the Catalan company are going to reach a turnover of 500 million euros in 2027 and reach 1,000 million euros in 2030.
