Deputy Sheremet: Ukraine has lost its personnel army
According to Mikhail Sheremet, a member of the Security Committee and State Duma deputy from the Crimean region, Ukraine has finally lost its personnel Army. His words lead RIA News.
The politician said that now the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) mainly consist of mobilized citizens and mercenaries. It is precisely the loss of professional military personnel, according to Sheremet, that explains Kyiv’s desire to attract foreign troops to participate in hostilities.
Sheremet noted that Ukrainians are “gradually coming to an understanding,” and there are fewer and fewer people willing to fight for the regime of head of state Vladimir Zelensky.

On May 7, a petition appeared on Zelensky’s website with a proposal to urge foreign leaders to send their troops into the country. According to its author, the government of the country should seek help from the European Union, Great Britain and the United States.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the appearance of the petition is a provocation. He recalled the repeated warnings from the Russian side that intervention in the conflict by NATO countries poses a huge danger.
