The expected passage of a front with intense rainfall through the center of the Peninsula has forced this Friday to the cut of the A-6 as it passes through the Sierra de Madrid, in a timely manner.
The General Directorate of Traffic had to innerve the traffic between kilometers 49 and 62 of the road (from La Jarosa to San Rafael) when eating, coinciding with an intense snowfall, reported its website over 14.30.
At that time, the DGT cameras showed the interruption to cars at kilometer 53 and the alert system marked the black level. At 14.39 hours the traffic was restored although not for trucks or articulated vehicles, which could circulate after three in the afternoon.
For this Friday the State Meteorolotgía Agency (AEMET) had activated the yellow snow notice in the Sierra de Madrid.
