When does Andor season 2 come out? According to the words of Adria Arjona, who plays the character of Bix in the series, the show set in the Star Wars universe should make its debut on Disney+ during 2025.
“The second season of Andor will come out next year, hopefully,” the actress told the New York Times. “I think people will go crazy when they see her: he’s much bigger, smarter. Tony Gilroy]has really outdone himself.”
Compared to previous forecasts, this is clearly a postponement, but considering the difficulties linked to the strikes that hit the American television and film industry, a longer wait was inevitable for what appears to be the conclusion of the story.
Stellan Skarsgard had already talked about it
As you may remember, Stellan Skarsgard also talked about the release of Andor season 2 a few weeks ago. Although without indicating a precise periodthe actor clarified that the series was not among the projects intended for publication during 2024.
On the same occasion, Skarsgard specified that the second will be the last season of the show, as it will end where the events of Rogue One begin. The interpreter also said he was convinced of the quality of the new episodes.
The first season of Andor made its debut on the Disney+ streaming platform in September 2021 and was received with great enthusiasm by both critics and the public, positioning itself as one of the best productions ever related to the Star Wars franchise.
At this point all that remains is to wait for an official announcement from Disney.
