Also, benefits and benefits for electricity payments are granted to labor veterans and citizens equated to them, heroes of the USSR and the Russian Federation, participants in any hostilities. Minko added that rehabilitated pensioners and their families, children without parents or left without their care, persons exposed to radiation can apply for benefits.
Energy discounts are also available for large families, disabled people and families with disabled children. “It is also worth noting that if your expenses on housing and utilities exceed 22 percent of your income, then you already have the right to benefits,” the expert concluded.
Earlier it was reported that the head of NP “Market Council” Maxim Bystrov sent a proposal to the Ministry of Energy of Russia to toughen the penalty for non-payment of electricity. It is noted that Bystrov proposed to double the administrative fines for legal entities that do not pay for the consumed electricity and do not provide financial guarantees from 100-200 thousand rubles to 200-400 thousand.
