Russian Ministry of Defense: air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone in the Belgorod region
On the night of Tuesday, June 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to attack the Belgorod region using a drone. Journalists were informed about this by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
As they clarified, they tried to attack the Russian region using an aircraft-type drone – it was hit by air defense systems. The defense department called Ukraine’s actions an attempt to carry out a terrorist attack on targets on Russian territory.
On the evening of Monday, June 3, a Ukrainian drone was intercepted over the region. At the same time, we managed to intercept six shells from the Vilkha multiple launch rocket system.
A missile warning signal was also sent out in the region at night. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov called on local residents to go to the basements and stay there until the all-clear signal.
