Recently Dwayne Johnson either “The rock”has been on everyone’s lips in Hollywood because it is going to venture as Black Adam in the movie universe DC. And now the actor has mentioned a cherished dream regarding his role, one that relates a possible union of universes with the worlds and characters of the comics of Marvel.
In the latest issue of the magazine TotalFilm, Johnson touched on the studio’s ambitions to expand the DCEU by introducing new characters and spin-offs. He pointed out that Black Adam exists in the “great umbrella of the DC universe”, and this will allow possible crossovers with brands, there could be the possibility of having direct confrontations with Marvel.
Here are your comments regarding this possible union:
I am optimistic. Only my nature is optimistic. And especially when it comes to creativity. Especially when it comes to movies. And especially when it comes to DC’s pantheon of superheroes and supervillains. Across the street, we have Marvel’s pantheon of superheroes and supervillains. For me, not only can they exist, but, in my opinion, they should intersect one day.
It is worth mentioning that these brands have joined forces in the past through print publications, agreements that were previously not so complicated to achieve due to copyright. The clearest example was Spider-Man vs. Supermanso some kind of joining that isn’t necessarily canon is possible in every movie line.
Remember that the series Black Adam premieres the October 21.
