However, along with its endless learning and entertainment possibilities, there are also significant risks that can affect the well-being and safety of young people online. Concern about these risks has led the 64 Legislature of the State of SinaloaMexico, take steps to address this challenge.
Concern about the risks on the Internet for children and adolescents has led the Sinaloa Congress to consider amendments to the Law on the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents of the State of Sinaloa. Specifically, it is proposed to add a last paragraph to article 51 of this law, with the objective of implementing mechanisms that promote the safe and responsible use of the Internet and information and communication technologies.
