“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video on September 2 and is projected as one of the most ambitious titles on the platform.
The adaptation of the books written by JRR Tolkien will seek to explore the time when the rings were forged that millennia later would lead to the War of the Ring, the conflict that was seen in the main saga.
Now, a new teaser of about a minute tells us what we will see on July 14, the date on which the full preview will be released.

Amazon Prime Video reveals first trailer
This Wednesday the 6th, the streaming platform revealed a preview video that begins with a mysterious meteorite, and then introduces us to the Harfoots, ancestors of the hobbits, the elves Gil-Galad and Elrond, and the dwarf king Durin IV.
Also, one of the most interesting scenes is when we see Galadriel traveling on a ship with other elves. For Tolkien fans, this sequence will be easily assimilated with “Silmarillion”, a book that, unfortunately, was not taken into account to make the series.
Although this trailer shows new details, it is still very discreet, so the best would be saved for July 14, the date on which the second official trailer will be released.
“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” – synopsis
The upcoming Amazon Prime Video series spans from the revival of Sauron, through the creation of the rings of power, the war of the elves against Sauron, and ends with his defeat, where he loses the one ring. The story is thus set in an era where the kingdoms achieved great glory and fell, in turn, into ruin.
