TIPS FOR HEAVY RAINS AND STORMS
In this situation, if you are surprised by very intense rain on the road, reduce your speed, adapting to the existing visibility; Avoid passing through flooded sections, riverbeds or boulevards and, if you are walking in the countryside, look for high places in case of flooding.
Regarding heavy rains, remove outside elements from your home that could be washed away by water. If part of your home floods, leave basements and ground floors and disconnect the power.
Outside, during a heavy rain or storm, avoid parking your vehicle or wading with it through streams or channels, to avoid being swept away by a sudden flood of water. In this sense, stay away from valleys, rivers or torrents to avoid being surprised by a flood.
Finally, you should avoid traveling by road and, if necessary, inform yourself about the weather conditions in the area you are going to and take extreme precautions due to the possible presence of obstacles on the road.
Finally, we remind you that in case of emergency you should call 1-1-2, while all citizens are invited to make rational use of it.
