The editorial staff of Il Secolo XIX, which has already opposed the decision of the Gedi group to sell l’Espresso, expressing full solidarity with their colleagues even before the rumors of the sale were confirmed, ranks alongside the editorial staff of Repubblica. The decision to sell l’Espresso is a divestiture that weakens our group and deprives it of one of its historical publications, made in the name of a strategy that until now has only seen divestments and cuts. In light of these developments, the Cdr of Il Secolo XIX urgently asks for a clarification with the publisher that involves all the trade union representatives of the Gedi group newspapers.
