The first political reactions to the tragedy have not been long in coming, with statements of dismay. Azcon has announced the suspension of the entire agenda “as a sign of mourning” and has sent his “deepest condolences” to the families of the deceased.
Ten people have died and two others have been seriously injured in the early hours of this Friday in the fire at the Jardines de Villafranca psycho-geriatric residence, according to sources from the Government of Aragon.

On social networks, the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezhas also regretted the tragedy that occurred in the Zaragoza town.
