The Investigative Committee became interested in the incident
As reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency, after landing (in the second half of the flight) the plane rolled to the right of the runway – tentatively, 10 meters. Saransk Airport was temporarily closed for flight arrivals and departures.
Rossiya Airlines explained that the aircraft skidded off the runway, preliminary, due to the discrepancy between its actual condition and the declared parameters.
