Pentagon: We have nothing to report about the use of Starlink by the Russian army
The Pentagon cannot say anything about the alleged use of Starlink satellite communications terminals by the Russian army, said Sabrina Singh, deputy spokeswoman for the US defense department. Her reaction leads TASS.
“I don’t have anything specific [для вас] regarding Russia’s use [терминалов] Starlink. As you know, our contract with Starlink is intended to be used [ее услуг] Ukrainians,” said Singh.
The day before, US Senator Elizabeth Warren said that the Russian military was allegedly illegally using Starlink satellite communication terminals in Ukraine. According to her, this is a serious threat to the national security of the United States and its allies.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which quotes Warren, claims that Washington is working with Elon Musk’s companies and Kiev to resolve the problem.
