Perm investigators have resumed the search for five-year-old Katya Chetina, who disappeared in 2010 while vacationing with her parents on the banks of the Sylva River at the foot of the Ermak rock. This is reported by RIA News.
The parents believe that their daughter was kidnapped. They explored the area for several months, checking the version of the accident, but the girl was not found. In 2022, an unknown person contacted Katya’s father and stated that the girl was with him. He sent a video of a teenager and demanded seven thousand dollars. The father of the missing woman took a screenshot and passed it on to investigators.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded from his subordinates a report on the investigation into the case of a missing child. Katya's parents hope that their daughter is alive and can be returned home.
