We don’t yet know what the exact contents will be, but the trailer announces that the beta will be available for PS5 and Xbox Serieswith the possibility of trying UFL from June 7th to 9th with times yet to be specified.
A new free-to-play football game
UFL is the new free-to-play football game in development by the Strikerz team on Unreal Engine 5, and it is a first project by the studio in question.
The ambition behind the game is remarkable, now it’s a matter of seeing how this translates to the controller test.
Eugene Nashilov, the CEO of Strikerz, reported that the basic principle of the game is to offer an exciting football simulation, where the skills of the players emerge above all, despite the context free-to-play includes the obvious presence of microtransactions and in-app purchases of various types.
For this reason, the game is defined as “fair-to-play” by the developers, as it should have an approach that is as fair as possible and based on the actual skills of the participants. We will therefore have the opportunity to see these principles in action and evaluate their effectiveness in this test scheduled for the weekend.
Meanwhile, the game was delayed again last December, married from the year 2023 to 2024, but still without a precise release date.
