LG launches the new line of UltraGear OLED gaming monitors in Italy, with MLA+ panels and a function never seen before: Dual Mode for resolution and refresh rate.
The new monitors are arriving LG OLED with MLA+ panel. On May 22, 2024, LG Electronics announced the release in Italy of the new line of LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitors. There are five models available, namely 27GS95QE, 32GS95UE, 34GS95QE, 39GS95QE and 45GS95QE, and they promise to revolutionize gaming thanks to cutting-edge technologies such as Dual Mode function.
They are also equipped with panels with MLA+ (Micro Lens Array+) technology, which increase brightness by 37.5% compared to the previous generation, reaching a peak of 1300 nits (275 nits is instead the typical brightness at 100% of the average level of the image). This, together with the infinite contrast and perfect black typical of OLEDs, guarantees vivid and detailed images. The monitors also feature anti-glare and low glare treatment with 35% opacity, significantly reducing reflections even in bright conditions.
Another important feature is the Live Color Low Blue Light technology, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted, minimizing eye strain without compromising image quality, at least in theory.

Among the most interesting innovations is theLG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE, the first monitor in the world with Dual Mode function certified by VESA. This allows you to switch from 4K UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160) at 240 Hz to Full HD (1,920 x 1,080) images at 480 Hz with a simple tap. This feature offers the flexibility to choose between definition and refresh rate, ideal for adapting to different types of games, from fast-paced shooters to more story-driven games.
In addition to this new function, the new 32″ LG UltraGear monitor confirms a response time of 0.03 ms (GtG) which significantly reduces motion blur, improves image sharpness and gives greater dynamism to the whole picture. gaming experience. The panel is flat, while the minimalist frameless design on 4 sides offers a full-screen view that does not distract from the gaming action and integrates perfectly into any type of environment.
Finally, as regards audio, the 32″ UltraGear monitor is equipped with integrated stereo speakers which, thanks to Pixel Sound technology, emit sound directly from the screen, eliminating the need for external speakers which would take up additional space in the workstation. front audio system that integrates two woofers and support for DTS Virtual:X, it should create an engaging and exhilarating three-dimensional sound passage.
The curved models
The other three models, namely the monitors LG UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE, 39GS95QE and 45GS95QE, instead have a panel with a curvature radius of 800R, while the 27-inch model, the 27GS95QE, has a flat panel. The format is 21:9 with UltraWide Quad HD resolution (3,440 x 1,440), 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time (GtG).
The new gaming monitors adopt the Unity Hexagonal design which uses a thin “L” support, introduced this year, to adjust inclination, height and rotation, ensuring installation flexibility and good cable management.
