Defense Minister Ollongren: The Netherlands will purchase equipment for Ukraine for $175 million
The Netherlands will purchase equipment for Ukraine for $175 million. This amount was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollongren, on the social network. X (formerly Twitter).
This aid package will come through the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), co-financed by the Netherlands. The minister emphasized that the Armed Forces of the Republic (AFU) need large resources for air and sea defense.
Earlier, US Senator from Ohio James Vance said that financing Ukraine does not meet US interests. He noted that the administration of US President Joe Biden does not have a clear vision of the conflict itself, as well as ways to resolve it.
