J-POP Manga announces the arrival in Italy of The Moon and Steelwork of Daruma Matsuura which was a great success in Japan. The first volume of the manga will be available for purchase in all comic shops, bookstores and online stores starting from January 17th at the launch price of €6.90. In 1800s Japan, Konosuke Ryudo is a low-ranking samurai who cannot find dignity in life or even in death. Due to a strange curse, the metal deforms in contact with his skin, making it impossible for the man to both work and seek oblivion by holding a katana, to duel or perform the ritual of seppuku. In desperation, just as he is resigning himself to an honorless death, Konosuke finds himself saving a beautiful and unknown woman, fleeing from a group of pursuers. She starts following him and acting as if she were his wife: what mystery is she hiding? Will her entry into the samurai's life be salvation or damnation for him?
