A sad case has shocked the United States and the rest of the world. Is about Drayke Hardmana 12-year-old boy, who was a victim of bullying at his school, which would have led him to end his life.
Drayke’s older sister, 16, was the one who found the little boy dead at home. Their father, Andy Hardman, tried to help him while he was transferred to a medical center, where he was in critical condition for a few hours until his death was declared.
Drayke’s parents, Samie and Andy Hardmana family from Utah (United States), decided to share their son’s story to raise awareness among adults about raising their children and denounced that their little one suffered from physical and verbal bullying several months ago by a schoolmate.

mother’s message
Through her Instagram account, Samie Hardman wrote a message that has broken the hearts of people around the world for reflecting her pain on him, however, she also took advantage of her publication to encourage people to always be generous and kind with the rest.
“This is the result of bullying, my handsome boy he was fighting a battle that not even I could save him from. It is real, it is silent and there is absolutely nothing you can do as a parent to take away this deep pain. No signs, just hurtful words from others who finally stole OUR Drayke from this cruel place.
This boy knew love, every day of his life, he was our world, my world, his father’s world, his sister’s world… we revolved around this boy… To know Drayke was to love him, he had a fire lit by people, her witty personality and those baby blue eyes took the world by storm. He is my boy, the only person who at any given moment would just stop and give me a hug, say 100,384,849 times a day ‘Mom, I just love you’, he was obsessed with basketball and jazz. He always told his dad and his sisters that was going to be the shortest star in the NBAso he could team up with @spidadmitchell and they could conquer basketball.
Well, my friend, you are my saving grace, you are daddy’s hunting guide and now you are the eternal protector of your older sisters. I’m not sure how to navigate this life without you. I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you, and you spent the rest of yours with me.
My heart is broken, I don’t know how to fix it, or if I ever will, but I will spend every minute teaching kindness in memory of my favorite friend. His purpose here was to teach kindness, to show love and he absolutely did, he took anyone as a friend so they would have one. Once you were in Drayke’s tribe, you were there forever.
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for my people, for the calls, the texts, all the messages. I try to answer, I do, but I don’t know how at the moment. I will say hug your babies, hug them tight. Teach them to live and love fiercely.
Teach kindness and #DoItForDrayke.”

father’s message
For his part, Andy Hardman, in addition to showing his pain through the message, blamed the system for the tragedy that occurred and pointed out that there are many cases of bullying that are recorded inside schools in the United States and that they must stop now.
“There are still amazing people in this world and we have felt a lot of that love from many of you. I’ve wanted to share my feelings, but I’ve had a hard time finding the words. Now is my time to be the voice of my hero, my only son who was taken from us.
I closed my eyes 51 hours after starting CPR hoping to save my son’s life. Hearing the screams of his 16-year-old sister who witnessed something no one should. This is my nightmare… every moment I close my eyes. While my son will never open his eyes again in this life.
I lean over my son performing CPR and feel like I won’t have the strength to continue as my arms go weak and burn with exhaustion. Fighting in the back of my mind that Drayke was already gone under the pressure of each downward move. While the vomit that he sucks filters through his precious little mouth.
A word… BULLYING!!!
I woke up this morning angrier than ever in my life. Do I blame myself? Do I blame my sweet boy? I blame the system! I blame the fact that these stalkers exist! How is there so much hate in our world that we allow children to hurt other children? It’s simple… we do it to each other and they learn that it’s okay to nurture their lack of trust. They think it makes them cool.
My son will never marry, he will never be a father. He will never have a future of any kind. All because of a cowardly child. Why did this boy deserve to treat my son like he wasn’t human? What happens to him and his cowardly trash friends is that they become advocates of hate. They are the parents? I don’t have the answers, but I know THIS HAS TO STOP NOW!
I #LoHagoPorDrayke”
