The Minister of Transport of the Government of Spain, Óscar Puente, has just confirmed the news that many were waiting for: there is now a date to resume the service of the high-speed line between Madrid and Valencia.
The brutal passage of DANA through Valencia caused enormous damage. Among them, the high-speed tracks were among the most affected, since they were buried under tons of rocks and mud, forcing the service to be interrupted for two weeks.
The Ministry of Transportation began work to restore the tracks and clean the area almost two weeks ago, and this Monday Óscar Puente announced that normal service will be restored on next Thursday, November 14.
Likewise, ticket sales begin this Monday, November 11, starting at 2:00 p.m.. “The images from 11 days ago are now just history,” said Minister Puente.
