ALBACETE.- Those affected by DANA in the Albacete town of Letur do not currently need more food, clothing or blankets and therefore the City Council asks that before organizing more collection campaigns you contact them directly, through email electronic [email protected]and they make available to those who want to continue collaborating a bank account in which they can carry out donations.
After thank you “from the bottom of my heart” for the supportive response both from citizens, as well as from companies and organizations after the catastrophe experienced by the town last Tuesday, with an “avalanche of calls from all over Spain”, the City Council assures that the situation at a care and technical level is fully organized and coordinated by the professional emergency services of the General Directorate of Civil Protection of Castilla-La Mancha.
“If necessary, requests will be made through the town councils of neighboring towns. Always through official channels, never through unofficial social networks,” they specify.
Likewise, through a mobile letter, signed by the mayor, Sergio Marín, in response to the multitude of economic offers they are receiving, transfers the authorization of a municipal bank account in which donations can be made, which “they will be allocated entirely to the recovery of Letur”.
The account held by the Letur City Council is number ES14 3190 0041 5600 0916 9723, of the entity Globalcaja, and the concept must indicate ‘Letur Catastrophe Donation’.
A side that concludes the mayor by thanking again “the generosity and solidarity of everyone”, while being convinced that with this joint effort “we will overcome this situation and rebuild our municipality.”
