Microsoft published via the Xbox YouTube channel the Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 launch trailer. This video – which you can see below – also includes the song Animal Soul by AURORA.
Video lasts about a minute and a half and allows us to see various scenes from Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. We see Senua running through the cracking earth, fighting against warriors and nightmarish creatures. We know that Senua’s adventure will be brutal, dark and debilitating for our souls and this trailer confirms that our heroine will suffer quite a bit.
The song however, it is softer than one might expect and creates a particular contrast between game scenes of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and the text. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, what to expect
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is a action game with a strong cinematic feel. She puts us in the shoes of Senua, a mentally disturbed young woman who must battle her own demons, both real and imaginary ones.
The setting that forms the backdrop is Viking Iceland, dominated by a tyrant. Gameplay will be a mix of exploration, puzzle solving and cinematic combat, often focused on one-on-one.

In a previous video we saw another collaboration between the video game and an artist, specifically a goldsmith who recreated Senua’s headdress.
