As we reported to you, the The Last of Us TV series has won eight Emmys, including one for Nick Offerman as Bill. On this occasion, the actor spoke to Deadline and revealed that there is a possibility that one will be made spin-off or prequel series for his character and his partner, Frank.
Recall that in the first season of The Last of Us, viewers were introduced to Bill and Frank in the third episode“A Long, Long Time”, which explores the long history between the two men, who go from strangers to lovers.
The two characters are extremely interesting and perhaps have less space than they deserve. According to Offerman, however, there were proposals for spin-off or prequel series dedicated to them.
Offerman's words
Offerman he said, “Good question, but I'd have to ask someone who has more decision-making power than me. It's definitely been proposed. I think we've proposed an entire miniseries of a prequel to their lives before they met. It could be a musical. Not We're out of ideas. We'll see what Craig and Neil come up with.”
By “Craig” and “Neil”, Offerman refers to Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmannwriters and producers of the series.
He then remarked that he “would love to reprise the role”, jokingly talking about how lucky he was to get it.
