The head of the authority stressed that the Suez Canal has proven its leadership and ability to receive all giant container ships with a capacity of 24 thousand containers, as this category of giant ships specializes in crossing the Suez Canal without other shipping lanes to transport trade between Europe and Asia.
To ensure the ship’s safe passage, Lieutenant-General Osama Rabie instructed to take all necessary measures and measures for this, and to appoint a group of senior guides in the authority to guide it during its journey across the canal.
The Panamanian giant ship “EVER ALP” is the sister ship to the largest container ship in the world “EVER ACE”, and it is the fourth in a series of giant ships, consisting of 12 ships of the class “A24”, to be built for the shipping line “EVER”.
