Bethesda has revealed some of the voices chosen for dubbing Of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circleshortly after the publication of the new trailer on the occasion of the Xbox Games Showcase, and in particular regarding Alessandra Mastronardi there is a special case to record.
As we can see from the post published directly by Bethesda Italia on X, the Italian version of Indiana Jones and The Ancient Circle, as previously announced, will be completely dubbed into Italianwith the voices of Alessandro D’Errico in the role of Indiana Jones, Gaia Bolognesi in that of Gina Lombardi, Renzo Ferrini in the role of Locus and Maurizio Merluzzo in that of Ross.
What may seem bizarre is therefore that Alessandra Mastronardi, despite being the actress on whom Gina is modeled in the game, he will not voice his own character in the Italian version, giving way to Gaia Bolognesi.
Mastronardi’s voice is in the English version
In practice, to hear Mastronardi’s original voice you would have to play in English, given that in original version the voice is that of the Italian actress.
The issue was not further explored and explained, but it is likely that there was an incompatibility with the actress’s commitments, or an agreement for additional dubbing work was not found, or simply the actress herself preferred hand over the role to a professional voice actress.
In any case, those communicated by Bethesda are the official voices of the Italian version of Indiana Jones and The Ancient Circle, which apparently does not have Michele Gammino as the voice of the protagonist but Alessandro D’Errico.
For the rest, we saw the new trailer for the game during the Xbox Games Showcase, with confirmation that the game should arrive this year but still without a precise release date.
