The international spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces has made public some images recorded by a drone in which you can allegedly see Yahya Sinwar, Hamas leaderjust before the soldiers end your life.
In it videoshared on the social network Inside you can see a human figure that the army identifies as Yahya Sinwar and that he appears to be carrying a large knife or metal bar in his hands.
When Sinwar realizes that he has been discovered, he tries to reach the drone with the object in his hands, but he throws it without touching the device. As can be seen, Hamas leader appears to be injured for its slight and weak movements.
Yahya Sinwar is considered the mastermind of the October 7, 2023 attacks that left around 1,200 dead and around 250 kidnapped.
“Mass murderer Yahya Sinwar, responsible for the massacre and atrocities of October 7, was murdered today by IDF soldiers. “This is a great military and moral achievement for Israel and a victory for the entire free world against the axis of evil of radical Islam led by Iran,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced this Thursday.
Sinwar, 62, had become one of Israel’s top military targets over the past year, especially after his rise last August to head the organization. He then replaced Ismail Haniye, killed at the end of July in an Israeli action in Tehran that ultimately led to an attack with drones and missiles by Iran, reports EP.
Sinwar’s whereabouts have been a constant source of speculation, given that he has not appeared in public since the attacks more than a year ago. Last February, the Israeli Army released a video from a surveillance camera located in a tunnel in the Bani Suheila area, in Khan Yunis, in which it supposedly identified Sinwar fleeing with his family.
Considered one of the founders of the military wing of Hamas, Sinwar was imprisoned in Israel from 1989 until 2011, when he was released as part of an agreement to achieve the surrender of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
