May 1st is getting closer and closer and this year we will mark 30 years since the death of one of the best drivers of all time: Ayrton Senna. There will be many initiatives linked to the Brazilian driver, but one in particular attracts the attention of all the main collectors in the world.
We are talking about one of the three Honda NSXs that the 3-time world champion owned during his life. The car, recognizable for its splendid shapes and unmistakable red livery, was put up for sale by the current owner – the British McKagan – at the price of 500,000 pounds.
The car, first registered in 1991, has accumulated just 62,925 kilometers in 33 years and belonged to Ayrton, often remaining at his home in Sintra, Portugal.

After Senna's death, the car remained in Portugal until its current owner, the British McKagan, bought it in 2013. Now the NSX has been put up for sale via an advert on Auto Trader.
“I first purchased the car in 2013 on a trip to the Algarve, Portugal, and it has been in my ownership ever since, where it has sat proudly on my estate in East Sussex,” McKagan said.

“Senna's red NSX was given to him by Honda, with whom he had a business partnership, and Senna often used it and had his picture taken with the car during his stays in Portugal.”
“Being a huge Senna fan myself, I was delighted when I was able to get my hands on the NSX, which has been built to perfection and presents a stylish and powerful machine to deliver an incredible experience on the road.”
“It has been a real pleasure to own one of the most famous cars of a true sporting legend, and the thrill of driving Senna's car never fades.”
