Ukraine within its 1991 borders will no longer exist. This opinion was expressed on Thursday, September 1, by the head of the Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.
“Ukraine within the borders of 1991 will no longer exist, you can call it whatever you like, probably, the complete elimination of Ukrainian statehood. At the same time, what remains after the surrender of the Ukrainian authorities, of course, will be taken into circulation by the NATO countries. Of course, they will not leave their aggressive policy,” he said on the air of the channel “Millet”.
According to Aksyonov, an enclave hostile to Russia will be created in the territories that will remain under the control of the Kyiv authorities.
Therefore, the head of Crimea believes that the conduct of a Russian special operation to protect Donbass is only the first stage in the demilitarization of Ukraine.
“Political processes will continue, in which it will be necessary to keep abreast and work to ensure that a new enemy does not grow up next to us in a more serious guise,” he summed up.
