Beglov expressed condolences to the relatives of those killed in a bus accident in St. Petersburg
The Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, expressed his condolences to the relatives of the non-surviving passengers of the bus, which, as a result of an accident, fell into the Moika River. This is reported by RIA News with reference to the press service of the city government.
The governor also thanked the rescuers, ambulance and traffic police officers, as well as passers-by who quickly came to the rescue. According to him, all the victims were taken to the hospital and are receiving assistance. Also, on behalf of Beglov, a commission has been created that will find out the causes of the accident.
On Friday, May 10, a bus with passengers fell from the Potseluev Bridge into the Moika River and drowned after an accident with a car sharing car. The 44-year-old bus driver lost control. He was the first to escape and was detained as a suspect.
