Deputy Prime Minister Abramchenko: closed borders with Finland will not harm Russia
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Victoria Abramchenko spoke about the consequences of closing the border with Finland. Her words lead RIA News.
According to her, this will not cause any damage to the country's economy. In addition, she noted that Finland’s actions are a consequence of the ill-conceived policy of the European Union.
“Our mutual trade with Europe has simply deteriorated; with Finland our mutual trade is less than one million dollars. We will not suffer from this for sure; whether the Finnish economy will suffer is something we need to ask the Finns,” Abramchenko said.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo said that closing borders with Russia complicates the lives of people and organizations due to the active migration of Russians.
