The Official State Gazette (BOE) publishes this Saturday the order of the Ministry of Health that limits the practice of cosmetic surgery to professionals with specific training in this discipline, a measure with which the Government intends to stop intrusion in this activity and guarantee patient safety.
Specifically, it is the modification of the royal decree of 2003 that regulates the authorization of health centers, services and establishments, and will come into force this Sunday.
Health has decided to improve control over this activity given the increase in this type of interventions and the proliferation of centers that offer them, in order to guarantee that these procedures are carried out exclusively by professionals with the appropriate training and qualifications.
