Her name is Ghaya, and her goals have no limits. She is the student Ghaya Zain Allah Al-Karbi, from the ninth grade at Al-Bahia Mixed School in Abu Dhabi, who won second place in the eighth session of the “Arab Reading Challenge” at the UAE level in the category of people of determination.
Ghaya has read 50 books, and her ambition is always first place, inspired by the saying of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him: My people and I will not be satisfied with anything less than first place.
Ghaya Zain Allah Al-Karbi has suffered from glaucoma since birth, which has caused her to have poor eyesight, but this has not stopped her from achieving her ambitions and goals.
Ghaya says: “I grew up and built a strong, well-read, outspoken personality. My hobbies include reading, writing, learning, and a love of traveling to learn about other civilizations. This is my third participation in the Arab Reading Challenge, which has contributed to developing my skills and increasing my passion for books, which has helped me write stories such as Hala and the Plant, Space Twins, and finally The Dove of Peace.”
