In Magnitogorsk, FSB officers detained the former director of a municipal government agency suspected of abuse of office. The official representative of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region, Tatyana Sosnina, reported this to Lenta.ru.
The suspect accepted and paid a commercial organization for uncompleted design and survey work on one of the transport infrastructure facilities. As a result, the regional budget suffered damage of at least 70 million rubles.
The regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia explained that in March 2020, the ex-director entered into a contract for the design of work on a multi-level road interchange. At the same time, he knew that the work performed did not correspond to the technical specifications and cost less. The issue of filing charges and choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
According to Lenta.ru’s source, we are talking about the ex-director of the Capital Construction Administration MKU Ivan Troshkin.
Earlier it was reported that the former head of the anti-corruption department of the Bryansk Ministry of Internal Affairs was arrested for bribery.
