The FSB detained GUR and SBU agents who were preparing terrorist attacks against the Black Sea Fleet
The Russian FSB detained in Crimea agents of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who were recruited in the Zaporozhye region. They were preparing terrorist attacks against the military of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, as well as important infrastructure in the region.
Cases of terrorism and treason have been opened
According to the FSB, cases have been opened against five detainees who were part of the intelligence network of the Ukrainian special services under Articles 205 (“Terrorist Act”) and 275 (“High Treason”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is known that they were previously convicted under Article 221.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on illegal storage of explosives and explosive devices.
According to the FSB, agents delivered explosive devices and means of destruction by mail and by bus, after which they placed them in hiding places. Ukrainian curators were sent photographs with the coordinates of the caches, and they then set tasks for the performers.
FSB representatives clarified that the detainees did not previously know each other. During the searches, they found homemade explosive devices, explosives from the UK and electric detonators. Caches with weapons of destruction were also discovered.
Those detained face punishment up to life imprisonment.
Agents were asked to monitor the military and weapons
As one of the detainees said during interrogation, curators from Ukraine contacted him immediately after the start of the Russian special military operation – through friends they knew that he was against military action. The first task, the suspect said, was visual control – it was necessary to report information about the presence of troops and aircraft at the airfield.
“We were interested in the MiG-31s, converted to the Dagger,” he said.

The detainee also said that he had received an order to install video surveillance cameras on the roads of Crimea in the area of the Kerch Bridge. According to him, he was transferred 68 thousand rubles for the purchase of cameras. At the end of April, the coordinator gave the man data on the location of the cache, where there were 2.5 kilograms of explosives, and a radio bridge for detonation.
Another detainee, a former contract soldier of the Ukrainian army, on instructions from his curator, planned to carry out a terrorist attack against high-ranking officers of the Black Sea Fleet. To do this, he established the places of residence of the military and the routes of their movements.
