The Barcelona Free Zone It has been the first in the world to receive the Free Zone Certificate of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)a distinction that establishes the security and transparency criteria in the international trade of these areas of economic activity worldwide.
The consortium of the Free Zone of Barcelona (CZFB) explained this Thursday that the delivery of recognition was made in the First forum on the fight against illicit tradeheld on March 18 and 19 at the headquarters of the OECD in Paris (France).
In this way, the Free Zone of Barcelona has been recognized as a “world reference in its area of activity”, for its business oriented to the innovationthe Industry 4.0 and the sustainabilityas well as his strong commitment to transparency in management and security in international trade.
In his thanks speech, the special delegate of the State at the CZFB, Pere Navarropointed out that the certificate “positions the Free Zone of Barcelona as the great international reference” in logistics and industrial.
