US accusations against Russia have become more aggressive. This is reported on website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
It is noted that at the site of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), as well as in the UN Security Council, countries make aggressive statements directed against Russia. In addition, “the Skripal case, inspired by Great Britain,” and the alleged poisoning of Alexei Navalny (founder of FBK, included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent, and recognized as an extremist organization), the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The department added that London still has not provided any evidence of its charges.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that NATO and EU countries, accusing Russia of concealing part of the former military-technical program of the Soviet Union, continue to work in laboratories with substances from the Novichok group.
According to the British authorities, ex-GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned on March 4, 2018 with a nerve agent Novichok developed in the Soviet Union. London notes that the attack was sanctioned by the top leadership of Russia. Moscow denies any involvement in the situation with the Skripals.
