Doomsday: Last Survivors and Lords Mobile
As it celebrates its eighth anniversary, Lords Mobile is taking his goals to new heights. Having now freed himself from the patterns imposed by the gaming genre, he is venturing towards new styles, always aiming to integrate gaming into the lives of players.
One of the key factors contributing to Lords Mobile’s enduring success is its impressive track record of collaborations with top franchises. These collaborations not only kept players engaged and with their eyes on the screen, but also played a crucial role in shaping the brand’s image.
Doomsday: Last Survivors is a zombie-themed survival game featuring online multiplayer matches and real-time strategy elements. In March this year, DLS celebrated its one-year anniversary of global launch. To commemorate this moment, DLS also participated in this great event and became a key part of it.
The SLG International Offline Championship
Was a tournament on a global scale, the first of its kind for SLG games, and capable of bringing together players and enthusiasts from all over the world in one place. In fact, the best teams in the world have gathered in the exotic Thai city, i.e. those capable of emerging from the online qualifiers that began in March. Awaiting them, in addition to the fans, was a total prize pool of over 280 thousand dollars (140,000 for Doomsday: Last Survivors and the same for Lords Mobile) including cash rewards, in-game currency and other merchandising items such as Bose headphones.
The fans, however, had a chance to win numerous online and live giveaways, as a set of four Apple digital products worth $3,000 as the top prize. There was no shortage of moments of pure entertainment such as the presence of cosplayers, fun stands where you could win prizes such as in-game gift codes (worth $30) and get in touch with well-known content creators and VIPs. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, the renowned strongman known for his role as “The Mountain”, has been invited to participate in the Phuket championship. He made an appearance at the event as an in-game hero and even participated in interactive minigames with the audience.
All this without considering that each viewer received a merchandise gift bag worth $1,000 of in-game currency and a $200 gift card.
Battle beyond the screens
